La Motte T. Cohu was an airlines executive. In 1930 he was president of Air Investors Inc. and Aviation Corporation. He resigned as president of Aviation Corporation in 1932. He was also an executive committee member of Transcontinental and Western Air (1933-1947) and chairman of the board and general manager of Northrop Aircraft (1939-1947).
